September 2009 Since February 1, 2007, 59 children at The King's Community House of Refuge and Learning Center have now been sponsored. They are receiving food, clothing, and going to school. We presently have 15 more children that desperately need a sponsor. Below are their pictures. We are blessed by God's unending faithfulness. I knew when this all began it would not stop with a handfull of children. This is a growing ministry. Jesus said,"Look around you, the fields are ripe for harvest." "The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety" Isaiah 14:30. Below is a picture that was taken in November 2007 of the children standing together in front of The King's Community House of Refuge and Learning Center.  Sponsor A Child at The King's Community House of Refuge We would like to provide the opportunity and blessing to be a sponsor and sow into any of these children’s lives. A monthly gift of $20.00 can provide a safe place to live, food, clothing, medical attention and education for each child. The need is very real and the privilege to sow into the lives of these children is immense. You may choose which child you would like to sponsor from the pictures below which are accompanied with their name, age, and birthday. As a sponsor, you will receive a picture of the child, write letters to them, and receive updates of the child you sponsor if you choose to do so. Even more important you will have the opportunity to pray for them by name. A story of their situation can be provided upon request. Your Sponsorship can be made monthly, for a full year, or for as long as you choose. Because your sponsorship is a tax-deductible gift, you will receive a statement at the end of the year for your records.
